Why doesn't Aurora Suite 2005 support Windows 3.1, 95, 98 or Me?

Unfortunately for users of older Windows platforms, Microsoft has greatly decreased their developer support for older Windows platforms. This means that some of the features we offer in Aurora Suite simply aren't supported on older versions of Windows. Other features are supported, but require installation of a myriad of patches and additional components to get them to work, often with less functionality than in newer Windows versions. At the time we started development of Aurora Suite 2005, Windows 98 was the only remaining 16-bit Windows product with any significant marketshare. Microsoft had stated that support for Windows 98 would cease by the time Aurora Suite was published and the decision was made to design Aurora Suite to take best advantage of Microsoft's premiere 32-bit platforms - Windows 2000 and XP.
