SSIL AURORA.INI Settings

SSIL AURORA.INI Options

The SSIL voice driver supports several special use switches in the AURORA.INI file. These settings are not supported by the Setup dialog, but may be needed in special circumstances.

[SSIL]

Initialization=

Initialization is sent before the first speech is sent to the SSIL driver. Generally this is used to set up special features of the driver. It defaults to send nothing. Any character may be represented by a $ character followed by it's two digit hex value. For example, $0 is invalid, $00 is valid and would send a nul character.

Prefix=

Prefix is sent before each and every speech output. It defaults to send $1B>$1B. Any character may be represented by a $ character followed by it's two digit hex value. For example, $0 is invalid, $00 is valid and would send a nul character.

Suffix=

Suffix is sent after each and every speech output. It defaults to send $1B<$1B. Any character may be represented by a $ character followed by it's two digit hex value. For example, $0 is invalid, $00 is valid and would send a nul character.

HelpFile=

Helpfile is the name of this file, the default value is SSILA.HLP in your Aurora or Aurora Network directory.
